Understand the condition of your electrics

An EICR assesses the condition of an existing electrical installation within an agreed scope. We inspect and test accessible parts, record limitations and explain the findings in the report.

Arrange access and downtime

Testing requires access to the consumer unit and electrical points, and involves switching circuits off. Tell us about tenants, business opening hours, sensitive equipment or areas that cannot be accessed when booking.

Clear findings and separate remedial work

Common questions

Is an EICR the same as a certificate for new work?

No. An EICR reports on an existing installation. New installations or alterations require the appropriate installation certification for that work.

What should I send for a quote?

Send the property type, location, approximate number of circuits, any previous report and details of access restrictions. Commercial and larger installations need a scope suited to the premises.
